Enjoying the beautiful weather, (El Captain has told us to expect heavy showers when we get to Papeete), I have read 2 more books whilst lounging on the deck chairs on the Promenade deck. Its tough but someone has to do it. George has been to the movies every day, some good ones have been shown.
We watched a cocktail making demonstration, I will have to try and remember so I can impress everyone.
Now for some more observations: we have from the start of the cruise, requested a weekly statement for our shipboard account and so far it has been spot on. Only one discrepancy and it was fixed out promptly. The staff at the Passengers desk are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Also, our wait staff at the Dining room are THE best 2 young waiters on the ship!! Watchara and Yogi are just so lovely, and can't do enough to please. Even in the morning, at breakfast in the buffet, they still go out of their way to get us tea/orange juice.
The happy evening drinks are coming to an end, funny that as we leave USA. It has been a success though, I have never seen the bar staff so busy.
We did a trial pack today, oh dear may have to buy another suitcase somewhere before Sydney. I honestly did not think I had bought that much, I still don't but whatever it is , its mounted up. Most people have bought more than me, honestly George.
We feel like winding down our holiday but for most people this would be just the start of a cruise. However after nearly 13 weeks, it seems so close to the end. I feel as though I have been away for ages, and its amazing how we have coped just fine in a 4 x 3 metre room. Our house will feel like a mansion!
