We arrived back on the Mother Ship around 4 , we had walked for 8 hours. The sail away was the best sight ever. It was just getting dark enough for all the lights to come on. The skyline is beautiful, the photos probably don't do it justice.
We did not want to visit Ground zero but I must say that just being in the city, a few times I did think about that dreadful day. Many planes flew over as we walked and it was an eerie feeling. Some people did visit the sight and commented that some low life people were trying to sell photos of the moment the planes hit the building, so we are glad we didn't go.
Altogether another fantastic day, we won't ever forget this one either.
